This strategy paper addresses the need to raise the quality of investments in poverty reduction projects and programs that aim to improvement the water security of the rural poor. Partnership can promote initiatives to help improve project qua;ity, replicate good practices, and increace demand-led rural water investments by strengthening local capacity and pro-poor water governance.
