This CD, developed by the U.S. Environmrntal Protection Agency's Office of Solid Waste (OSW), contains more than 300 publications on hazardous and nonhazardous waste. The documents are searchable, listed alphabetically by topic, and many are in Spnanish. The publication cover many topics, including recycling and reuse, buying recycled, hazardous waste management, composting, and use motor oil. The CD includes a wide variety of educational materials for youth, as well as the winning poster from OSW's Earth Day Art Contest for grades K-6.
The CD also contains information about the Resource Conservation Challenge (RCC), an innovative national effort to find flexible, yet protective, ways to conserve the nations resources. Descriptions of the major voluntary partnerships taht are part of the RCC are included.
